Hot Melt Adhesive Film For Dyneema Fabric Bonding

UHMWPE fabric (Dyneema) features an extremely smooth and chemically inert surface, which makes it difficult for bonding. Traditional liquid glue easily causes debonding, hardening, whitening and poor water resistance. The hot melt adhesive film adopts solid adhesive film. After hot pressing, the adhesive evenly infiltrates the fiber gaps of UHMWPE fabric and forms a high-strength flexible composite layer after cooling, perfectly solving the problem of poor adhesion and delamination of UHMWPE material.

No solvent and no primer required. Under controlled temperature, pressure and time, the molten adhesive penetrates into the fiber gaps of UHMWPE fabric. It forms a firm and flexible bonding structure through physical embedding and surface adsorption without damaging the original high strength, cut resistance and impact resistance of Dyneema fabric.

Instructions for Use

1)The operating temperature of this bonding film for Dyneema fabric is 160-200℃. The surface of the objects to be bonded should be dry and without any oil stainless. if necessary, the surface should be roughened.

2)Place the Dyneema composite bonding film on the object to be bonded, heat it to above the melting temperature, apply appropriate pressure, peel off the release paper, then heat it to above the melting temperature again, and then laminate the other bonding surface, apply appropriate pressure, and it will cure instantly during cooling to complete the bonding.
