Product Introduction
Introduction
WT-923A is a TPU-based hot-melt adhesive film specially developed to meet bonding needs across multiple fields. As a representative product in the hot-melt adhesive film category that combines practicality and cost-effectiveness, its core base material is made of high-quality thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). This material itself possesses excellent flexibility, aging resistance, and bonding compatibility, enabling it not only to adapt to usage requirements in different environments but also to maintain stable performance during subsequent processing and application processes, thus providing a reliable material foundation for various bonding scenarios.
From the perspective of product structure, WT-923A adopts a double-layer composite design of "functional adhesive film layer + PE protective film layer". Among them, the core adhesive film layer is the key component for achieving the bonding function, while the outer PE (polyethylene) protective film undertakes an important protective role: during product production, storage, transportation, and subsequent cutting and processing links, the PE protective film can effectively isolate the adhesive film surface from damage caused by external dust, moisture, and mechanical friction, ensuring that the adhesive film always maintains a clean surface state and complete bonding performance before formal use. At the same time, this structural design also provides convenience for users' operations. In practical application, users only need to simply peel off the PE protective film to directly attach the adhesive film to the surface of the substrate to be bonded, without the need for additional pre-treatment steps, which greatly improves operational efficiency.
In terms of product advantages, the most prominent features of WT-923A lie in the dual advantages of "ultra-thin thickness" and "high cost-effectiveness". Firstly, its ultra-thin thickness design can not only meet the scenario requirements where strict limits are imposed on the thickness of the bonding layer. For example, in the fabric splicing process in the garment industry, the ultra-thin adhesive film will not cause obvious bulges or a heavy feeling at the fabric seams after lamination, ensuring the wearing comfort of clothing and the flatness of its appearance. In the partial bonding of automotive interiors, it can also avoid the impact of excessive adhesive film thickness on the assembly accuracy and overall aesthetics of interior components. Secondly, the advantage of "low cost" is not achieved at the expense of product performance, but through optimizing production processes, improving raw material utilization rates, and other means: on the premise of ensuring that the core performance indicators of the adhesive film (such as bonding strength and temperature resistance) meet the standards, WT-923A can effectively reduce the customer's unit usage cost. Whether it is the direct cost savings during bulk procurement or the indirect cost control brought by the stable performance of the adhesive film (which reduces the rejection rate) in subsequent processing, it can provide customers with practical cost optimization space in their production and operation. It is particularly suitable for enterprises that are highly sensitive to costs and require bulk application.
From the perspective of bonding performance, WT-923A exhibits strong material compatibility and can excellently bond various fabrics of different materials, including but not limited to textile fabrics such as cotton, linen, silk, and chemical fibers, as well as materials commonly used in the garment and automotive interior industries such as leather, PU synthetic leather, and non-woven fabrics. The principle of its hot-melt bonding is to melt the TPU adhesive film through heating, forming a uniform bonding layer on the surface of the substrate to be bonded. After cooling, it can be tightly combined with the substrate. This not only ensures high bonding strength but also maintains good flexibility, avoiding problems such as stiffness and cracking of the fabric caused by an overly hard bonding layer. This characteristic allows it to play an excellent role in scenarios such as the splicing of collars and cuffs, and the lamination of skirt hems in the garment industry, as well as the bonding of seat fabrics and door panel interior fabrics in the automotive industry.
In terms of application fields, relying on its excellent comprehensive performance, WT-923A has been widely used in two core fields: the garment industry and the automotive industry, and is gradually expanding into other related fields. In the garment industry, in addition to conventional ready-to-wear splicing, it can also be used in scenarios such as the bonding of waterproof strips for sportswear and the fixing of liners for thermal clothing, meeting the diverse bonding performance requirements of different clothing categories. In the automotive industry, beyond the bonding of interior fabrics, it can also be applied to the edge fixing of automotive seats and the partial lamination of door panel interiors. Moreover, its performance meets the basic requirements of the automotive industry for interior materials and can adapt to temperature changes and long-term usage needs inside automobiles. In addition, with the continuous expansion of market demand, WT-923A is also gradually attempting to enter fields such as home textiles (e.g., the splicing of curtain and sofa fabrics) and luggage manufacturing (e.g., the bonding of luggage fabrics and linings), providing cost-effective solutions for bonding needs in more industries.
